Publish Your Form

Understand drafts, publishing, updates, and when changes become available to respondents.

Prepare Your Draft

Before publishing, preview the form and complete a test submission. Check the wording, required fields, validation, confirmation message, and layout on both desktop and mobile. Fix anything that could prevent a respondent from completing the form.

Publish the Form

When the draft is ready, use the publish action in the form builder and confirm the changes. Publishing makes the current version available to respondents and provides the form's shareable URL or embed options.

Share or Embed It

Use the hosted link when you want to share the form directly. To place it on your website, copy the embed option provided for the published form and follow its setup instructions. Open the destination yourself to confirm the form loads as expected.

Publish Later Changes

You can continue editing a form after it is live. Review and test those edits in the builder, then publish the updated version when you are ready for respondents to see them. Until the update is published, the live form continues to use its previously published version.

After publishing an update, reopen the live link and verify the changes. If the form is embedded on a website, check it there too.
